Donna Jacobs M.A. C. Psych. Assoc.

Donna had been a practicing Psychologist in Quebec since 1979. In 1997, she moved to Toronto and became a licensed member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

During her years of practice, Donna has seen a variety of clientele including adolescents, adults and couples. Presenting problems range from depression, anxiety, (including panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder), personality disorders, eating disorders, grief work, stress, infertility, and other issues that impact individual and couple functioning.

As a large part of Donna’s clinical practice is related to infertility, she is part of the team at First Steps Fertility and works offsite at Yonge/Lawrence. Her work in this domain involves counseling couples and individuals in their decisions surrounding their infertility, dealing with repeated failed cycles, the impact on the couple, sexual functioning, family building as a single man or woman, in order to help her clients navigate through their challenges. As well, Donna conducts assessments for third party reproduction, such as gamete donation and surrogacy.
