Fay Weisberg, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Fay Weisberg is a graduate of the University of Manitoba School of Medicine. Her postgraduate training was completed at the University of Toronto, in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and she subsequently spent six months at the Houston Medical Center pursuing further postgraduate work in laparoscopic surgery. In the past, Dr. Weisberg held the position of Undergraduate Teaching Co-Ordinator at Women’s College Hospital. She now holds positions at the University of Toronto as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and as the Director of Continuing Medical Education.
She has received numerous teaching awards, including the Colin Woolf Award for excellence in teaching from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and another from the Peters-Boyd Academy. She has given the Gynecology Update at the Saturday at the University Program for the past 10 years and is part of the International Continuing Medial Education Faculty for the University of Toronto. She has also recently given a series of lectures in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Weisberg is a fellow of the Society of Obstetrics and Gyneacology of Canada, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. She is also a member of both the National Menopause Society and International Menopause Society.
Dr. Weisberg has sat on a variety of advisory boards and working editorial boards involved in continuing medical education presentations, including University of Toronto based educational programs.
She has done numerous media presentations, including participating in a national television presentation on menopause.
